INVZI MagHub 3: 8-in-1 Docking Station Stand for iPad and Tablet

I ordered this item this morning and it arrives at my dinner time. Kudos for the delivery speed.

Recently my little 8 years old son start to take some online courses, I have been looking for the product to keep him at a good gesture during the class. Here I found it. A perfect parter for iPad, which turns our iPad into a desktop screen. My little one does not need to twist his neck to look at the screen anymore. I believe this is a good investment for his spine health.

The product is heavy, which is good that it sits still on the table while the iPad is on. The joints that let you adjust the angle are tight when I tried to rotate them, and it stays forever at my desired angle. I had some other products which also let me adjust the angles, but some of them would gradually falling down. I am glad this product does not have this defect.

I would strongly recommend this product to other mums.

I ordered space grey and got BLUE, clearly... not happy about that, but the stand is good. solid. But surely is not space grey. So I have a mismatch... I looked to see if they might have a blue rather than space grey available and i do not see one... so I am keeping it... but not happy about the color. Functionally fine. NOT THE COLOR I ORDERED. Buyer beware.

I just wonder if everyone had the same thought I had once setup, that access to all the great ports on this thing would be much better suited for the side of the holder or the very front.

So, I actually have a very nice home office with very large 4K monitors. However, I dont like to work in my home office because its kind of isolated from everything. As someone who works from home 100% it can be pretty isolating. Ive taken to working at my kitchen bar, which has a good view of my patio and my drive and allows for a lot of engagement with the outside world. My laptop screen is 15.6, which is a decent size. I also have a 15.6 portable monitor. It comes with a magnetic cover that also acts as the stand. It works fine but (1) it means the monitor sets down lower than my laptop and (2) that type of cover-stand actually takes up coveted space on my bar.

So, I got this stand to hold it and adjust it so its level with my laptop. It works perfectly! The stand is very heavy duty and feels super solid. Its very adjustable so you can hold your tablet or monitor in many positions. It would hold a slightly larger monitor than 15.6 but thats it. Maybe one size up. I do like all the docking station features but the functionality isnt so that it can actually power and recognize the monitor. So, I still have to use the cable from the monitor (USB-C) to plug directly into my laptop in order for it to receive power and my laptop to detect it. But, the rest of the features could come in hand for other things. I do intend to bring it when I travel for work since it folds up nice and compact, though it is weighty.

I like it quite a bit and recommend it. I think its worth the price!

Just what I needed, it works with the tablet and the cell phone, very stable and secure. It comes with a small cable from the tablet to the base! And from the base I put another longer cable to connect to the wall if I need to connect the tablet while I'm using it!

A very impressive mounting stand with a variety of options and fits anything with a USB-C connector. I'm using it for my Samsung Fold 4 phone, so I can have an adjustable stand on my desk at work, so I can keep track of what's happening on my phone while still paying attention to my monitors on my screen.
I'm highly impressed with the features of the "Docking Station" having a USB-C power In, a USB-C next to it, and the USB-A ports. Not to mention the audio and video ports plus a SD Card reader. This thing is a docking station with an adjustable magnetic arm on it.
The arm is highly adjustable, and with a pretty wide base it makes for a ton of ways to adjust it without feeling tipsy at all. The piece that holds the tablet or the phone is spring loaded and also magnetic, so you can put your magnetic pencil on it to keep track. I'll really impressed with the product and would recommend anyone to grab one if you're looking a feature rich stand for your tablet or phone. I

This INVZI MagHub 8-in-1 Docking Station is awesome! Very impressive design and build quality, with a plethora of expansion ports, SD/TF flash drive readers, and a full-sized HDMI port. The power pass-thru is rated up to 100W. And it provides a dedicated data and full power charging USB-C cable for your tablet.

The Maghub construction is first rate. All gray anodized aluminum frame and body. The arms are capable of high loads for stability. My sample had a few cosmetic scratches to the gray finish around the tablet feed connector, but it is minor and not in direct sight. The docking station is built into the base, and the entire unit is quite heavy.

INVZI definitely designed this for the professional iPad Pro user. (and the Android counterpart). The clamp system accommodates all the large sized tablets up to 13" This dock is ideal for a professional photographer who's operations revolve around iPad Pros running the latest Adobe Photoshop port for iOS. One can easily run a large monitor and keyboard/mouse for desktop editing.
It folds down to a low profile, compact package that's easy to travel with.
I'm an Android user and look forward to expanding my new tablet's functionality with this excellently executed tablet docking station. Exceeded my expectations and worth the asking price!

I was surprised when the package arrived, it was a bit smaller package than I was expecting. Even still, there was a lot of protective packaging to protect the stand and included cable, wasteful even.

When I unfolded the stand for the first time I was somewhat shocked at the tightness of the hinges. Even for a new item, it is very stiff. This was confidence inspiring.

Also included is a USB C cable with right-angle plugs on both ends. This fits nicely in to the side host port on the base and keeps your device powered up. I recommend a 100 watt USB C charger for charging duties (not included).

The base includes a pair of USB 3.0 ports, 3 USB C ports, a 3.5 mm audio port, SD and micro-SD reader slots, and an HDMI port. The USB C port for the device connection is on the left side of the base. Charging is through the front facing USB C port to the left, the other is a normal super speed data port.

The gripping arm is also quite taut. I found that the best way to get my device in securely was to fit it in at the top and push up on the device while pulling down on the lower "jaw". It fit and held a 12.9 iPad Pro all the way down to my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The device can be rotated freely, only limited by the data cable. The stand remained as solid as it was without a device on it.

The electronics worked as I had hoped they would, but as an IT person I may be a bit over-exposed to this type of equipment and might take a few things for granted. So briefly, this device will:

1) help keep your hands free
2) safely hold the device at a precise angle indefinitely
3) permit external input devices
4) keep your device charged
5) push video to a larger display
6) enable data transfer to/from multiple external media types (3)
7) provide a legacy audio port to output sound

Finally, the price. Yes, it costs a C-note. But if you compare that to the Anker dock for the same price where the device simply sits on a ledge to Kensington's awkward system and dubious choice of ports for double the money, $100 is actually a bargain.
